Dell's 10-inch Windows 7 tablet delayed until autumn
The long-awaited Windows 7 10-inch Dell tablet has been pulled back from release. In Mid February the the company announced the release of their new 10-inch tablet. Reports have revealed that the release is delayed till early June. According to the company, the Windows 7 tablet – which will be powered by an Intel processor – is designed for business users who need “greater mobility, as well as IT organisations that demand control, security, manageability, and integration with existing infrastructure investments”.
“Businesses want Windows because it fits into the IT management scheme,” said Dell CEO Steven Lalla at the event.
